Crompton Bank. Middle of the night.
A heavily armed gang has hit the vault and disappeared without a trace.
Your team is sent in to investigate, recover a stolen masterpiece and stop the criminals before they escape.
Expect firefights, security systems, bomb disposal and a rooftop finale.

What to expect
This is one of our more action-heavy VR Missions.
Expect gunfights, teamwork under pressure and a much faster pace than our traditional escape rooms.
You’ll be solving puzzles one minute and fighting your way through a bank siege the next.
A great choice for groups who enjoy action films, shooters and high-energy cooperative games.
NO VR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Your booking is private. Your group is the only group in the building for your hour.
We’ll get you set up, explain everything clearly, and are on hand to guide you while you play.
HOW YOUR SESSION WORKS
You’ll be in VR for around 45 minutes.
Once you’ve completed your main Mission (20-30mins) you’ll play a BONUS GAME. (Choice of game is dependent on time remaining.)
If your team is really strong and finish quickly you could even get to play a whole second mission. No pressure!
ABOUT The Break-IN
The Break-In is an action-led VR Mission at VR Escape in Hockley, Essex.
Players take on the role of a Special Forces team investigating a major bank heist inside Crompton Bank.
The experience combines shooting, teamwork, puzzle solving and cinematic action sequences, including elevator combat, vault security systems, bomb disposal and a rooftop showdown.
Compared with our traditional escape rooms, The Break-In is faster, louder and much more combat-focused — making it a strong choice for groups looking for a high-energy VR experience.

Is The Break-In scary?
No. This is an action mission, not a horror experience.
Is it suitable for beginners and young players?
Yes. No VR experience is needed and your host will be on hand throughout. We recommend 11+ (Year 7)
Is this mainly puzzles or shooting?
It includes both, but this is one of our more action-heavy games.
How many players can play?
2–6 players.
How long is the session?
You get a full 45 minutes in VR. This session includes one main mission plus a second bonus game.
Where is VR Escape?
VR Escape is based in Hockley, Essex, close to Southend, Chelmsford and Basildon.
