That’s what you’ll experience at VR Escape. The glasses are of course virtual reality headsets and, if you’ve not tried VR before, you’ll find “magic glasses” is not as much of an exaggeration as you might think.
Take your team into space; to the ocean floor; escape a dragon; travel in time; investigate a Manor; crew a pirate ship…. Brought to life using virtual reality. All in the same space, working together, just as you would in any other escape room.
No VR experience needed - No learning curve - Anyone can step straight in - Fun and laughter guaranteed.

If you like escape rooms you’ll love our virtual escape rooms. Just as with traditional rooms you’ll arrive, be met by our cheerful games master, and be given a briefing before being taken into the escape room. The difference with our room is that the room is completely empty. The environment and all of the puzzles are in a virtual world that you’ll access using our VR headsets. In our virtual worlds you can go on adventures beyond the scope of physical escape rooms.
If you’re a group of friends looking for things to do in Southend on Sea, we’re a fifteen minute drive from the city centre. If you’re a couple after something different to do in Chelmsford then this is a date night like no other, we’re less than twenty minutes away straight down the A130. If you want some family fun in Basildon, we’re just fifteen minutes down the A127.
