THE MISSION:
Earth is running out of power.
Your team is sent to the hostile world of Planet X to recover the galaxy’s last remaining Energy Crystal before it falls into enemy hands.
Battle your way through alien attacks, abandoned outposts and ancient ruins as you fight to survive long enough to complete the mission.

What to expect
This is one of our more action-heavy VR Missions.
Expect fast-paced combat, teamwork under pressure and a much more energetic experience than our traditional puzzle-led escape rooms.
A great choice for groups who enjoy shooters, sci-fi films and cooperative action games.
NO VR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Your booking is private. Your group is the only group in the building for your hour.
We’ll get you set up, explain everything clearly, and are on hand to guide you while you play.
HOW YOUR SESSION WORKS
You’ll be in VR for around 45 minutes.
Once you’ve completed your main Mission (20-30mins) you’ll play a BONUS GAME. (Choice of game is dependent on time remaining.)
If your team is really strong and finish quickly you could even get to play a whole second mission. No pressure!
ABOUT MISSION: PLANET X
Mission Planet X is an action-led VR Mission at VR Escape in Hockley, Essex.
Players work together as an elite space unit sent to recover a powerful Energy Crystal from a dangerous alien world.
Unlike our more puzzle-focused escape rooms, Planet X is built around combat, communication and fast-paced teamwork, making it one of our most action-heavy VR experiences.

Is Mission: Planet X scary?
No. The game is intense and action-focused but this is not a horror experience.
Is this a puzzle game or a shooter?
Primarily a shooter, but there is also a puzzle section that requires teamwork and communication.
Is it suitable for beginners and young players?
Yes. No VR experience is needed and your host will be on hand throughout. We recommend it as suitable for 11+ (Year 7)
How many players can play?
2–6 players.
How long is the session?
You get a full 45 minutes in VR. This session includes one main mission plus a second bonus game.
Where is VR Escape?
VR Escape is based in Hockley, Essex, close to Southend, Chelmsford and Basildon.
