ITโ€™s FESTIVAL TIME!

Take your team into a shared nightmare. What are you most scared of? What makes you close your eyes and wish it away? Are you brave enough to face your fears? Youโ€™ll laugh. Youโ€™ll shake. Youโ€™ll cling onto each other. Youโ€™ll probably sweat and swear. But just rememberโ€ฆ whatever you doโ€ฆ Donโ€™t Scream!

Weโ€™re very pleased to confirm that weโ€™re bringing our scariest VR experiences to the Horror on Sea Film Festival in January 2026. For two weekends in January youโ€™ll find us at the Park Inn Radisson Palace Hotel in Southend.

What can we tell you about Donโ€™t Scream ?

This immersive horror experience is a mix of puzzles and activities in frightening environments. You can expect tension, fear, laughter, and more... This game is designed to scare you and make you uncomfortable. You shouldnโ€™t book it if you donโ€™t like being a bit frightened.

The headset microphones are listening to you throughout the adventure. If you scream - you lose points. Are you the bravest of them all?

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS

To our more sensitive players: We want everyone to enjoy all of our games. Donโ€™t Scream is scary and tense. You will jump. If you are not a fan of things such as the occult, hauntings, the undead, the wet end of severed body parts and other things of that natureโ€ฆ you should probably choose an alternative experience. You play at your own risk. We can accept no responsibility for your tears or nightmares.

A large, monstrous creature with orange eyes and sharp teeth is attacking the inside of a wooden church or chapel, which is decorated with a large cross, skulls, candles, and religious icons. The creature is reaching through the roof or wall of the building.

WHAT ELSE WILL WE BE BRINGING?

Along with the Donโ€™t Scream experience we will be bringing our two darkest Virtual Reality escape rooms. Firstly thereโ€™s fan favourite, the creepy Manor of Escape with its crackpot evil Count Malum and his trans dimensional experiments. Secondly thereโ€™s this yearโ€™s release Alien Infection, for those who prefer gross encounters of a different kind.

WE SUGGEST THAT PLAYERS SHOULD BE 15 OR OLDER

Were these experiences available 30 years ago they would have been rated 18+. In this day and age we think that 15+ years old is probably good guidance. Of the three experiences Donโ€™t Scream is the scariest as thatโ€™s its goal. Alien Infection has its moments but it is gentler in tone. Manor of Escape has a tongue in cheek feel to it. Both Alien and Manor are about the puzzles first.

Parents: We are not a cinema and donโ€™t check ages at the ticket counter. We wonโ€™t refuse entry if you bring a young teen to play although we will double check that you have understood what youโ€™re going to play and may ask โ€œare you sureโ€ while youโ€™re in our lobby on camera! You know them best. If youโ€™d like to know more before deciding to let a younger player participate please call on 01702 412733 or use the chat.
